Barons’ Conroy Selected To Represent AJHL At Junior Tournament In Russia

A Fort McMurray Oil Baron is heading to Russia to represent a team of AJHL all-stars at the 2019 Junior Club World Cup.

MOB Defenseman Ryan Conroy was named to the AJHL roster this morning, which will compete in an 8-team international tournament in late August.

The 18-year-old scored 3 goals and added 21 assists in his sophomore campaign with the Barons.

The roster, consisting of 22 players from the Alberta-Junior League – will be in Moscow for a pretournament camp from August 16-22.

The 2019 Junior Club World Cup takes place in Sochi from August 23-31.
