The Thanksgiving long weekend is here and with that comes a few changes to municipal services.

Transit services will run a reduced service on Monday. Only routes 11 (Airport), 12 (Thickwood/Timberlea), 15 (Timberlea Express), 16 (Thickwood Express), and 99 (MacDonald Island) will be running.

These five routes will be operating on their regular service on Saturday and Sunday.

The municipal landfill will be open from 8:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

All municipal offices will be closed on Monday. The PULSE line is available 24/7 at 780-743-7000.

What’s Open

Peter Pond Mall will be open all weekend. On Monday, you can head to the mall from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Syncrude Sports & Wellness Centre is open on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. -10 p.m. and on Monday they’re opened from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.

The Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park will open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday. All other holiday hours for the Park can be found on their website.

Meanwhile, the the movie theatre will be open all weekend.
