A Fort McMurray man’s wallet is much heavier after winning a large sum of money.
Lloyd Sinnicks recently won $125,882 through the LOTTO Max draw on October 1.
“I checked my ticket several times on the app. I saw the win, but I really wasn’t sure if it was right,” he said, in a release.
“My wife suggested that I go to the store and ask the clerk to check the ticket.”
The clerk at the Esso Abasand checked the ticket and confirmed the big win.
Sinnicks says he’s already decided what he’s going to use the money on.
“This is going toward a family trip that was already booked. I’m also going to pay off all of my loans so that I can be debt free.”
His ticket matched six of seven numbers plus the bonus number.
