A camp worker suspected of having COVID-19 has tested negative for the virus.

CIVEO Corporation announced last week that an individual at their Borealis Lodge had possibly contracted the illness.

However, Building Trades of Alberta, the group that employes the individual, says tests came back negative.

“BTA remains committed to working with all stakeholders, including governments, owners, contractors and others to ensure members are heard and concerns are addressed,” read a statement put on their social media.

Moving forward, the group is reminding the rest of its employees to continue adopting good hygiene practices.
