A 30-year-old man who was shot in Timberlea has died from his injuries.
On March 15, around 6:30 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to an apartment complex on Lougheed Drive after reports of shots fired inside the building.
After arriving, they found one man suffering from serious life-threatening injuries and two others with non-life threatening injuries.
The man, now identified as Hanad Mohamed, passed away with an autopsy determining his death was a homicide.
There’s currently no update on the other two victims.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit has also taken over the investigation.
They’re looking to speak with anyone who may have video or dashcam footage on Sunday, between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., around 200 Lougheed Drive.
