FORT CHIPEWYAN, Alberta— Charges are pending against two males following a drug seizure in Fort Chipewyan.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) conducted a check stop in the northern hamlet on Friday, May 3. Police uncovered a large quantity of what is believed to be crack cocaine, valued at approximately $60,000, along with a significant number of vaping cartridges.
Both occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and are now awaiting a judicial hearing.
