Charges have been laid after the shooting that took place last week near the Fort Chipewyan airport.

Two suspects were arrested in connection to the incident on Friday, but one was released without charges. 

19-year-old Keanu Redbear faces five charges in the matter:

• Uttering threats against a person
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Disguise with Intent
• Use of an imitation firearm while committing an offence
• Failure to comply with a Release Order

Redbear appeared in court on Monday in Fort Chipewyan.
