Taking A Unique New Approach To Mental Health

Just days after a study proudly declared Alberta home to some of the best post-secondary institutions in the country, it seems they’re trying to challenge that title in a rather… unique way. The University of Calgary is diving deep into research to prove that taking poop pills—yes, you read that right—might actually improve your mental health.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all for initiatives that boost mental well-being. I mean, who doesn’t want to feel on top of the world every day? But this? Popping poop pills? That’s a whole new level of commitment to mental health.

Then again, anyone who’s experienced a few days of digestive distress knows the pure joy of, well, getting back on track. Maybe there’s more to this idea than meets the eye—or should I say, more than we care to think about!
