Fort McMurray’s ‘Hello Summer’ Festival Brings Big Names and Bigger Vibes in July
FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. — A wave of music, sunshine, and summer celebration is set to roll into Fort McMurray this July with the Hello Summer festival. This event is set to be one of the biggest outdoor concerts the region has seen in years.
Taking place at SMS Equipment Stadium at MacDonald Island Park on July 5 and 6, the two-night event will feature an all-Canadian lineup packed with familiar names and high-energy performances.
Saturday’s stage will be shared by Our Lady Peace, The Glorious Sons, Big Wreck, and Fefe Dobson. Sunday keeps the momentum going with Three Days Grace, Matthew Good and His Band, I Mother Earth, and Econoline Crush.
“It’s a celebration of everything we love about this time of year — warm nights, live music, and the energy of community coming together,” said event organizers in a release. “Hello Summer is all about embracing the season and creating lasting memories.”
Alongside the music, festivalgoers can expect food vendors, outdoor fun, and that unbeatable long-daylight summer atmosphere that makes July in Fort McMurray so special.
Tickets go on sale April 9 at 10 a.m. through the MacDonald Island Park website, with pre-sale access for MIP Members on April 8. Those interested in suite options or group sales, including fundraising opportunities for local youth sports, arts, or wellness organizations, can find more details online.
The 2025 edition of Hello Summer is shaping up to be a can’t-miss celebration for music lovers and anyone looking to make the most of the season.
