Wood Buffalo RCMP Remind Public of E-Scooter Safety and Regulations

With warmer weather, E-scooter use is on the rise in Wood Buffalo, and the RCMP is reminding the public of important safety rules. E-scooters are considered miniature vehicles under Alberta law, and it’s illegal to operate them on sidewalks, streets, or highways. In the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, E-scooters can only be used on private property.
