
Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce unveils 2025–2026 board leadership
FORT MCMURRAY, AB —The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2025–2026 Board of Directors, a team of regional leaders dedicated to growing the local economy, supporting entrepreneurs, and advocating for the business community.
Crystal Young will serve as Chair for the upcoming term, with Graham Ure appointed Vice Chair, Denean Robinson as Treasurer, and Christopher Wruck as Secretary.
New to the board this year are Nayef Mahgoub, Blair Drew, and Vincent Eggleston. CEO of the Chamber says each brings a wealth of experience and fresh insight to help guide the Chamber’s work over the coming year.
Several directors have been reappointed for an additional two-year term, including Paige Cyr, Gene Dobie, Graham Ure, and Christopher Wruck. They join returning directors Amir Shami, Bob MacKay, and Alona Cruz-Farthing, who continue their service with the board.
Sangram S Hansra enters the final year of his term, following a significant tenure that included two years as Board Chair. The Chamber praised his ongoing contributions and deep institutional knowledge.
“It’s an honour to serve as Chair for the 2025–2026 term,” said Young. “I am excited to work alongside such a talented and passionate group of individuals. Together, we will continue to strengthen our business community, support entrepreneurs, and advocate for policies that ensure long-term prosperity for our region.”
Chamber CEO Dianna de Sousa welcomed the new board, and is impressed with its depth of experience and leadership.
