RCMP seek suspect after youth assaulted in Fort McMurray
FORT McMURRAY, AB. — Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a man accused of pushing a youth off their bike at a busy Timberlea shopping plaza.
Police say the incident happened around 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Stoneycreek Village, between the McDonald’s and Shoppers Drug Mart. The youth was shoved into a wall and suffered minor injuries.
The man walked away before officers arrived.
Investigators released surveillance images and describe the suspect as Caucasian, about 60 years old, five-foot-10, with grey hair and glasses. He was wearing a blue jacket, light blue shirt and grey shorts.
