Investigators link Parsons Access Road homicide and Tower Road vehicle fire
FORT MCMURRAY, AB. — A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 29-year-old woman wanted in connection with the killing of a man in Fort McMurray last year.
Alberta RCMP say Victoria Sheila Elizabeth Hilliard has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 42-year-old Mark O’Keefe on Dec. 12, 2023.
Police say officers were first called that morning at 10:10 a.m. to Parsons Access Road near the Highway 63 turnoff, where they found O’Keefe dead under what they described as suspicious circumstances. Shortly afterward, they were dispatched to a vehicle fire on Tower Road in Fort McMurray. Investigators believe the two incidents may be connected, and the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit later took over the case.

The investigation has now led to charges against Hilliard, who is described as five-foot-seven and 139 pounds with a fair complexion, blue eyes and blonde hair, though police say she changes her hair colour frequently. She is known to have several tattoos, including a mermaid on her left wrist, butterflies on her left forearm and a triple moon on her upper left forearm.
RCMP believe Hilliard may be in the Greater Toronto Area. They are asking the public not to approach her if seen but to call 911 or local police immediately.
