Remembering Jane Goodall
The world is mourning the loss of Dr. Jane Goodall, who passed away on October 1st at the age of 91.
Goodall was more than a primatologist — she was a pioneer who redefined our understanding of chimpanzees and forever changed how we see the natural world. Her groundbreaking research in Tanzania revealed that chimps use tools, form communities, and experience emotions much like us.
Beyond science, she was a tireless advocate for conservation and education, founding the Jane Goodall Institute and inspiring generations through her Roots & Shoots program.
Her message was always one of hope: that even small actions can create big change. While her voice will be missed, her legacy will continue to inspire.
