Fort McMurray — The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is asking residents to share their experiences with local emergency and transit services through two public feedback surveys now underway.
Residents who have used Emergency Medical Services in the region between September 23 and November 17 can share their experiences from the scene of an emergency to arrival at the hospital. The municipality says the feedback will help improve EMS delivery by focusing on public trust, response times, communication, and cultural safety. The survey is available at rmwb.ca/EMScare.
The municipality is also seeking feedback on the new RMWB Transit system, launched August 22 in Fort McMurray. The redesigned service includes new core and neighbourhood routes along with Transit On Demand options, based on the 2023 Transit Master Plan developed with community input and approved by council.
Officials say they want to know how riders are adapting to the changes and what improvements could be made in future phases. Riders are invited to share their experiences and suggestions through the online survey at rmwb.ca/transitfeedback.
