Dictionary.com’s 2025 Word of the Year Is… 67

Right off the jump I know what you’re thinking, it’s not a word, and you’re right! It’s 2 words SIX SEVEN!!!

I’m going to attempt to break down exactly why 67 is the word of the year in the most mature and least brain rotted way I possibly can! Soooo ENJOY!

The dictionary says it’s “purposefully nonsensical and all about being in on the absurdity.” This is true. It means absolutely nothing.

Some say it came from a song. Some say it came from professional basketball player LaMelo Ball. It’s possible all us Gen Z (yeah that’s right. I’m Gen Z. I’m only 21 remember) had the exact same dream one night and from then on we couldn’t stop saying it.

No matter where it came from, just remember, it means absolutely nothing.
