FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 38-year-old woman last seen in Fort McMurray.
Police say Shanelle Philomene Calliou was reported missing on Jan. 1, 2026, and was last seen that day in the downtown area. Officers say there is general concern for her wellbeing.
Calliou is described as having a fair complexion, chin-length blonde hair and brown eyes. She is about 161 centimetres tall and weigh

s about 81 kilograms. Police say she has a butterfly tattoo and a scar on her neck, as well as tattoos reading “angel,” “heaven” and “faith” on her shoulders.
She was last seen wearing red or burgundy sparkle pants and a matching top, black boots and a gold and black shawl.
