RMWB Council is set to begin deliberations on the proposed 2026 municipal budget in less than two weeks.
Residents are being encouraged to take part in the process by reviewing budget details available on the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo’s website. Members of the public can also register as a delegate to speak directly to council and share their feedback during budget discussions.
The municipality says public input is an important part of the budget process, helping council understand community priorities as it works through funding decisions for the coming year.
