Suspect vehicle in Hit and Run
FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle involved in a hit and run that damaged multiple parked cars in downtown Fort McMurray.
Mounties say officers responded at about 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 6 after reports that several parked vehicles had been struck in the 9500 block of Manning Avenue. Police say six unoccupied vehicles were hit, causing varying amounts of damage.
Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a two toned grey and black Ford SUV. The vehicle failed to stop and left the area before police arrived. RCMP say it is expected to have extensive front end damage.
