RCMP seek suspect after Honda CR-V stolen from downtown Fort McMurray parkade

FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a downtown parking garage and are asking the public for information.

Police say a grey 2020 Honda CR‑V was reported stolen around 7:20 a.m. on March 8 after it had been parked on the upper level of an underground parkade in the 13000 block of MacDonald Drive in Fort McMurray.

RCMP say the vehicle, which was locked, had the licence plate CMK 0785.

Investigators obtained surveillance footage from the parking area that show

s an unidentified man in the area around 4:15 a.m.

Police describe the suspect as about 25 years old with brown hair. He was wearing a brown winter toque, an orange scarf covering his face, a long black winter jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
