COLD LAKE, Alta. — RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a Fort McMurray man wanted on charges related to crimes against a person.
Police say Joey Jack Joseph Botelho, 34, is wanted on charges including criminal harassment, harassing communications and assault

following an incident reported Feb. 23.
Investigators say Botelho has not been located despite ongoing efforts and may be actively evading police. Officers warn he may be armed and dangerous and advise the public not to approach him.
Botelho is described as about five feet eight inches tall, weighing approximately 265 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a full beard. He also wears glasses and has several distinctive tattoos, including a Shelby Mustang on his left arm.
RCMP say he may be driving a red 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with Alberta licence plate CXH1054.
Police say Botelho, a resident of Fort McMurray, is known to frequent Cold Lake, Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan and Fort McMurray, as well as several communities in Saskatchewan.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Cold Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
