Somewhere in Europe, someone really took “have a break” a little too seriously.
A shipment carrying around 12 tons of KitKat bars (that’s more than 400,000 chocolate bars) was stolen while in transit between Italy and Poland. Basically, a full truckload of chocolate just vanished.
The company says the missing shipment could show up in unofficial markets, and there’s a chance people might notice fewer KitKats around ahead of Easter. So if your favourite snack suddenly goes missing… now you know why.
Right now, investigators are trying to track the shipment, but for the moment, it’s just a very confusing situation involving a lot of chocolate and very few answers.
Moral of the story: someone didn’t just steal candy… they stole a problem big enough to make everyone else want a snack out of stress.
