Well… Rod Stewart just paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne — and let’s just say, it went off the rails and into the uncanny valley.
As part of a live show, Rod debuted an AI-generated video of Ozzy… in heaven… taking selfies with dead rock (and even rap) legends like Freddie Mercury, John Lennon and even Tupac. Yes, really.
The crowd reaction? A mix of confusion, secondhand embarrassment, and full-blown “what did I just watch?”
Social media has dubbed it everything from “hilariously cursed” to “a bizarre episode of Rock ‘n’ Roll Ghost Hunters.” One fan commented: “This is what happens when boomers discover AI.” Another said: “Ozzy’s not even dead, Rod!!”
While Rod’s heart may have been in the right place, the execution felt more like a budget Super Bowl ad gone rogue.
Still… if heaven has good lighting and working front-facing cameras, Ozzy’s probably fine with it.
