Swifties, mark your calendars—Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ drops October 3rd!
Taylor announced it in true dramatic fashion—popping open a mint-green briefcase on Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights to reveal the title, cover art, and her new “orange era” vibes. The Empire State Building even lit up in bright orange to celebrate!
This 12-track album promises a fun, theatrical pop sound—a big mood shift from the introspective Tortured Poets Department. Expect sparkle, sass, and even a George Michael cover (“Father Figure”). Plus, Sabrina Carpenter joins her on the title track for what’s sure to be a glitter-bomb of a duet.

Taylor recorded much of the album while on the road in Europe for the Eras Tour—squeezing in studio time between shows. She calls it “lightning in a bottle,” and with Max Martin and Shellback back on production, we believe her.
