Fort McMurray Chamber to host fall economic update luncheon
FORT MCMURRAY, AB. — The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce will host its Economic Update: Fall Edition networking luncheon later this month.
The event is set for Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort McMurray Golf Club.
Mark Parsons, vice-president and chief economist at ATB Financial, will deliver the keynote address. Parsons has more than 20 years of experience in senior economic leadership roles with Alberta Treasury Board and Finance, PwC and Finance Canada.
He is expected to provide an in-depth look at Alberta’s economic landscape and discuss trends shaping the provincial and regional economies. Organizers say his insights will help business owners, investors and community leaders identify opportunities amid ongoing challenges such as tariffs and supply chain disruptions.
Seating is limited, and the chamber is encouraging early registration.
