Canadian Tire and Tim Hortons partner on loyalty programs
TORONTO — Canadian Tire Corporation and Tim Hortons say they will launch a loyalty partnership in 2026 that will allow customers to link their Triangle Rewards and Tims Rewards accounts.
The companies say linked members will be able to earn Canadian Tire Money on eligible Tim Hortons purchases and receive exclusive offers. Triangle Mastercard holders who link accounts will earn additional rewards when shopping at Tim Hortons.
The partnership is the fourth major addition to Canadian Tire’s Triangle Rewards ecosystem, which also includes Petro-Canada, RBC and WestJet. Canadian Tire says its loyalty program has nearly 12 million members, while Tim Hortons serves millions of customers daily across Canada.
Municipal officials say no final decision has been made about the property. The companies say the agreement expands opportunities for Canadians to earn and redeem rewards through daily purchases, including coffee runs and shopping trips.
