“This deal is about more than business growth. It’s about building a stronger future for our people,” said Justin Herman, CEO of the Chard Métis Dene Group. “With equality-based deals like this, it gives us a continuous opportunity to train and hire our people, keep revenue in our region, and give back directly to the community.”
Canadian Overhead Doors founder Kent Strong said the agreement reflects a shared vision for growth and commitment to excellence. “What started as a small idea became something larger than I ever imagined, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey,” he said. “This partnership ensures Canadian Overhead will continue to grow while maintaining the culture and commitment to excellence that brought us here.”
Canadian Overhead Doors provides residential, commercial and industrial customers with garage doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors and related services from locations in Fort McMurray and Calgary.
The Chard Métis Dene Group is the wholly owned economic development arm of the Chard Métis Nation.
