FORT MCMURRAY — Keyano College is opening its doors this weekend to prospective students looking to explore programs and career opportunities available in northern Alberta.
The college’s Fall 2025 Open House takes place Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clearwater Campus on Franklin Avenue. The event aims to help future students connect their interests and ambitions with hands-on learning and local career pathways.
Visitors can meet instructors, tour classrooms and labs, and learn about programs in trades and technology, health and human services, business, and university studies. Guided tours will also include stops at the Keyano Theatre, fitness facilities, on-campus housing, and the college’s Esports Arena.
College representatives will be available to discuss academic advising, accessibility services, scholarships, and financial aid. Admission advisors will also be on-site to help participants apply to programs for free.
Keyano officials say the event is an opportunity for residents to see how the college continues to meet regional workforce needs while supporting lifelong learning.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance at keyano.ca/openhouse or by emailing mailto:recruitment@keyano.ca.
