Man. What a loooooooong game.
Last night’s World Series Game 3 was less of a baseball game and more of an endurance test for the human spirit.
The Toronto Blue Jays battled for 18 innings — that’s basically two full games — before finally losing 6–5. By the time it ended, fans were googling “can you get jet lag from baseball?”
People started the game with pizza and optimism… and ended it with cold coffee, regrets, and a deep bond with their couch. Even the mascot looked like he needed an IV drip of Red Bull by inning 15.

Social media was pure gold, though — one fan tweeted, “I’ve seen marriages end faster than this game.” Another said, “The Jays didn’t lose. They just ran out of tomorrow.”
So while the scoreboard wasn’t kind, the dedication of Jays fans deserves a trophy of its own — maybe one shaped like a blanket and a cup of Tim Hortons.
