Move over lucky rabbit’s foot! There’s a new good-luck charm in town, and it apparently runs on Wi-Fi.
A woman has gone viral after revealing that she asked ChatGPT to pick her lottery numbers… and then won. Yes, really. Somewhere out there, a convenience store clerk is still trying to figure out how to congratulate both a human and a robot at the same time.
According to her story, she couldn’t decide on her usual numbers, so she jokingly asked ChatGPT to “pick something that feels lucky today.” She bought the ticket, didn’t think much of it, and BAM!! She ended up winning a small jackpot, the kind that makes you scream but still lets you quit your job for like… one afternoon.
Now the internet is having an existential crisis:
-
Are AIs psychic?
-
Is ChatGPT secretly the universe’s luckiest best friend?
-
And more importantly… what numbers should we ask it for next?!
While the odds of repeating her win are about as slim as finding a parking spot at Costco on a Saturday, one thing’s for sure, she’s officially started the superstition that could sweep the world:
“Alexa, Siri, ChatGPT… pick my numbers, please.”
Who knew the next big lottery strategy would be… talking to your laptop?
