Yes, you read that headline correctly.
America has officially reached PEAK levels of overconsumption.
Heinz just unveiled the KegChup. A literal beer-style keg filled with 114 ounces (3.37L) of Heinz ketchup, complete with a spigot so you can tap it like a pint. I MEAN COME ON AMERICA.
Of course the timing is on purpose as Heinz says the Super Bowl is the second-largest food holiday of the year, with 84% of fans making snacks at home. We’re talking fries, sliders, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, the full nine YARDS (get it? football joke)
Standing at nearly 20 inches tall, the KegChup is designed to last “all four quarters,” assuming no one starts free pouring the liquid gold(red).
The idea started as an Instagram tease last fall, pulled in one million views, and was popular enough to become a real (but limited) product.
From Jan 27 to 29, fans can win a KegChup through Heinz’s Instagram and others can sign up at HeinzKegChup.com for access when it officially launches ahead of the 2026 football season.
Is it ridiculous? Yes
Is it unnecessary? Yes
Does draft ketchup somehow make the Super Bowl better? Yes
