Fort McMurray – Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Fort McMurray man. Police say 67-year-old James Albert Hogg was last seen on February 24, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in Fort McMurray. According to RCMP, Hogg left work to get supper but did not return. Mounties say there is concern for his well-being. James is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall with a stocky build. He has scruffy grey facial hair and is almost bald. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black toque, a black hoodie with a yellow crest on it, and black jogging pants. Police are urging anyone who may have seen James, knows of his whereabouts, or has been in contact with him since he was reported missing to come forward.
