FORT McMURRAY — The Northern Lights Health Foundation is inviting residents to its 39th annual Spring Fling fundraiser next month in support of health care services in the Wood Buffalo region.
The gala, presented by Suncor, is scheduled for April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts.
Organizers say this year’s event will feature circus-inspired entertainment and interactive performances as part of an evening aimed at bringing the community together while raising funds for local health care.
Vanessa MacNevin, chief executive officer of the Northern Lights Health Foundation, said the annual event is designed to support services that benefit families across the region.
“Spring Fling has always been about bringing people together for an incredible night in support of local health care,” MacNevin said in a statement.
MacNevin said money raised through the event stays in the Wood Buffalo area and helps support local health programs and services.
Board chair Stephane Gagnon said community participation plays a key role in ensuring residents benefit directly from the services funded through the foundation.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available through the Northern Lights Health Foundation website.
