If you recently picked up garlic powder, you might want to take a look before you sprinkle it on dinner tonight.
A nationwide recall has been issued for Heavenly Spices Garlic Powder (70 g) sold at Dollarama locations across Canada due to possible contamination with Bacillus cereus, a bacteria that can cause food poisoning symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps.
The recalled product has the identification number RA-82337. If you have it at home, don’t use it — toss it out or contact Dollarama for more information.
Because apparently even our garlic powder is trying to add a little extra spice to our lives… and nobody ordered that kind of seasoning.
