FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking for the public’s help after approximately $15,000 worth of tools and supplies were stolen from a vehicle parked on Manning Avenue.
Police say a white Ford Super Duty was parked in the 8000 block of Manning Avenue when someone entered the vehicle sometime between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10.
RCMP received a report of the theft on Aug. 10.
Among the items reported stolen were multiple 100-foot lengths of cable, a 100-foot torch hose, a Milwaukee mag drill and drill bits, a Milwaukee skill saw and an impact and Mac tap and die set.
Investigators are looking for surveillance or dash camera footage which may have captured the theft or suspicious activity in the area.

Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through the P3 Tips service.
Police are also encouraging residents to report criminal or suspicious activity, saying those reports can help identify where officers should investigate and patrol.
