FORT MCMURRAY — Keyano Theatre is adding two shows to its 2026-27 Suncor Centre Stage lineup, with a comedy and a tribute to one of Johnny Cash’s most famous performances coming in November.
God is a Scottish Drag Queen is scheduled for Nov. 12, while Folsom Prison Revisited will take the stage Nov. 20.
Tickets will first be available to Key Ring members on Sept. 22, followed by general sales on Sept. 25.
God is a Scottish Drag Queen is a two-act comedy featuring a floral-suited version of God offering commentary on subjects ranging from Noah’s Ark to Star Wars.
Keyano describes the production as a one-man show blending pop culture, religion and comedy.
Folsom Prison Revisited tells the story behind Johnny Cash’s landmark live performance at Folsom Prison.
The show combines live music with a multimedia presentation and features songs including Folsom Prison Blues, I Still Miss Someone, Jackson, 25 Minutes to Go, Greystone Chapel, Ring of Fire, A Boy Named Sue and Hurt.
Keyano says the production is performed by award-winning musicians and traces what happened before, during and after the concert that helped cement Cash’s image and legacy.
Both shows are part of the 2026-27 Suncor Centre Stage season at Keyano Theatre.
