Due to the warm temperatures, both the Fort Chipewyan and La Loche Winter Roads are now closed until further notice.
The RMWB is looking to preserve the road for use later in the winter when colder temperatures resume.
The RM reminds drivers that driving on Winter Roads during these conditions can cause serious damage to the road, which can delay reaching higher load limits for delivery trucks and cause serious safety hazards.
Further updates on both Winter Roads will be provided when they become available.
