Wood Buffalo RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect in Fort McMurray.
Police say the suspect entered the Save-On Foods location on Riverstone Ridge at about 6:00 PM on Saturday, allegedly collected numerous items, and left the store without paying.
When approached by an employee, the suspect allegedly threatened to shoot the employee. The suspect was last seen leaving the scene in a dark pick-up truck, fleeing the scene northbound.
The suspect is said to be a man in his 20s, approximately six feet tall, with dark-coloured facial hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie and a toque. The suspect’s truck was described as a dark colored Chevrolet with a large generator in the box of the truck.
