Remember when life was so much simpler as a kid? Running around, drinking from the hose, and not having a care in the world? Well, science is here to ruin that nostalgia trip with some not-so-great news: apparently, rainwater isn’t safe to drink anymore. Yep, thanks to something called “forever chemicals,” even the rain has been compromised.
Now, I’m not saying we were out there guzzling rainwater by the gallon—just a few drops here and there—but still, it makes you wonder. How long until they tell us that drinking from the hose was a bad idea too? That was the ultimate summer refreshment, and let’s be honest, probably not the healthiest choice. But hey, we turned out okay…right?
