The Sport Wood Buffalo Golf Classic: Kentucky Derby Edition is taking place on Thursday, June 11, at the Fort McMurray Golf Club (100 Real Martin Drive).
The event kicks off with a 1:30 PM shotgun start and features 18 holes of play, exciting sport-themed hole activations, and a silent auction.
Attendees are encouraged to lean into the theme by wearing their most creative Kentucky Derby-style hats for a chance to win best-dressed prizes.
Registration is open to the public at a cost of $250 per golfer or $1,000 for a team of four, which includes a power cart, lunch, and admission to the awards dinner.
All proceeds directly support Sport Wood Buffalo’s initiatives to enhance sport accessibility and inclusiveness within the region.
