NAABA to spotlight Indigenous entrepreneurship at October 2 AGM
FORT McMURRAY, AB. — The Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association will showcase some of the country’s leading Indigenous entrepreneurs at its upcoming Annual General Meeting on October 2.
The event, themed “Entrepreneurship as Reconciliation,” will feature a panel discussion with Geena Jackson, Clint Davis and Dave Tuccaro, moderated by Globe and Mail journalist Emma Graney. NAABA says the evening will celebrate business successes, confront barriers to growth and push for meaningful action to support Indigenous entrepreneurship in the region and beyond.
Open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous attendees, the AGM will also honour new members, recognize milestone achievements and feature cultural performances. Tickets are on sale now.
