Regional Emergency Services responded to a transport truck fire Wednesday afternoon.
Crews were called to the scene on Highway 63 at approximately 2:45 p.m., responding with a pumper and a tanker. Fire officials say the trailer was located in the northbound lane at the top of a hill, blocking two right-hand lanes at the time of the incident.
The fire was reported extinguished around 3:20 p.m. Fire crews remained on scene for cleanup and were clear within about 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
