Holy Trinity Grad 2026
FORT McMURRAY — The Wood Buffalo RCMP are encouraging graduating students to celebrate safely as commencement ceremonies, parties and year-end events take place across the region.
Police are reminding students and families to plan ahead and make responsible decisions during graduation celebrations to help ensure everyone returns home safely.
Officers are urging graduates to never drive impaired or ride with an impaired driver and to arrange a safe ride home before attending events.
Students are also encouraged to be mindful of their social media activity and to respect school property, community spaces and local bylaws.
Police say parents and caregivers can play an important role by having conversations with youth about safety expectations, peer pressure and the importance of looking out for friends during celebrations.
The detachment extended its congratulations to graduating students and wished them a safe and memorable graduation season.
