RCMP Open House, September 19, 2026
FORT MCMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are reminding residents about an open house being held this coming Saturday at the Fort McMurray detachment.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Wood Buffalo RCMP detachment at 105 Paquette Drive.
RCMP say the open house will give residents a chance to meet local members, explore police vehicles and equipment and learn more about the specialized units serving the community.
Displays will include community policing, criminal investigations, traffic services, police dog services and forensic services.
Interactive displays will also be available for all ages.
RCMP say the event is intended to give residents an opportunity to connect with members, learn more about their work and see how different units work together in Wood Buffalo.
