Wood Buffalo RCMP say officers responded to a report of a man committing an indecent act near Franklin Avenue and Hospital Street at about 7 p.m. Sept. 3.
Police searched the area and located a suspect, who was arrested without further incident.
Roman Lacorde has been charged with one count of committing an indecent act.
He was held for a judicial interim release hearing and later released on conditions.
Lacorde is scheduled to appear in court in Fort McMurray on Sept. 16.
The incident comes less than a week after RCMP responded to another reported indecent act allegedly committed in the same general area.
Police were called at about 10:30 a.m. following reports of a naked man between Sobeys and Walmart off Hospital Street.
Allan Libertino, 45, was charged with one count of committing an indecent act and two counts of breaching probation in connection with that incident.
RCMP are encouraging residents to promptly report criminal or suspicious activity, saying information from the public can help officers determine where to patrol and assist investigators in responding to incidents.
Anyone who sees a crime in progress is asked to call 911.
These allegations have not been proven in court.
